Much loved little happy soul, missed greatly.
A celebration of Marney. He was always pleased to see you, Always wanting to be part of your life, To be near to you, to even sit on you. He was treasured and will be dearly missed. I will miss watching him chase a ball, With a sense of pride when he caught it, Enthusiastically chasing once more, then again, If only I got excited by a ball, like he, I’d be delighted. He loved to tuck in, to stuff his face To observe and supervise when the oven got turned on. And how right he was. He liked his tucker. Marney was your mate, your buddy, your pal, A sedative to stress, anxiety and ails, He was reliable, trustworthy and innocent. And his happiness a loss. It’s just wrong that he is gone. He deserved better, But that’s life, illness. It’s cruel. Seems like there is nothing left but pieces, In the malaise, that is memory. Marney bought you joy. (and a big stick that was clearly far too big to be dragged). And he will be missed I’m sorry he is gone.
Hope you’re happy in doggy heaven, Marney. I’m glad I got to meet you, thank you for looking after my Ella.
